A real curriculum, not just games

Three learning paths,
by age and ability.

Each path follows the same progression (home row → top/bottom → numbers → punctuation → fluency) but with different games, vocabulary, and pacing. Kids start with a 2-minute assessment to place them correctly.

Parent FAQ

Questions parents
actually ask us.

What age should my kid start?

Around 6, once they can read short words. Typiq starts with visual letter-matching before asking them to type — so even pre-readers can begin, and the app scales up as they go.

How much screen time per day?

We recommend 10 minutes per day, 4–5 days a week. You can enforce this with the built-in timer. Research shows short daily sessions beat long weekend crams for motor-skill learning.

Does it work on a tablet?

Typiq works on iPad + Bluetooth keyboard, Chromebook, PC, and Mac. It does NOT work on phones or without a physical keyboard — touch typing needs real keys.

Is my child's data safe?

Yes. Typiq is COPPA-compliant in the US and GDPR-K compliant in the EU. No behavioral advertising, no data sold to third parties, no chat, no social network. See our privacy policy.

What if we share a computer with siblings?

One parent login, multiple kid profiles — each has their own path, progress, and parent-visible dashboard.
